Meeting the cut-off does not guarantee admission. Post-UTME score and O'Level grades are also weighted.
What to know this cycle (2026/2027): Babcock University's Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening is open for candidates who chose Babcock as first choice in the 2026 JAMB UTME. Per the official admissions site, the minimum UTME aggregate score is 170 — candidates below this cannot apply. O-level requirement is 5 credits (GCE/SSCE/NECO or equivalent) in not more than 2 sittings, except Medicine which requires one sitting only.
Admission is UTME/DE only — Babcock does not offer alternative non-JAMB entry routes for fresh undergraduates. Candidates who didn't select Babcock as first choice can still apply but must complete a JAMB change of institution to Babcock at an accredited CBT centre before admission can be finalized. Inter-university transfer applicants need a JAMB admission letter, official transcript, and an attestation letter sent directly from their previous university's registrar.
Departmental cut-offs are not officially published by Babcock — the university publishes only the 170 general minimum plus course-specific O-level/subject requirements. We have not added a departmental course list here since we couldn't verify real cut-off figures from an official source; third-party sites disagree with each other on these numbers. Screening includes core-subject testing plus an interview for many programmes; Medicine additionally requires passing the Babcock University Medical School Admission Test (BUMSAT).
