Meeting the cut-off does not guarantee admission. Post-UTME score and O'Level grades are also weighted.

What to know this cycle

What to know this cycle (2026/2027): Covenant University's Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening form for 2026/2027 is open. The Realistic Institutional Admittable Minimum UTME Score (RIAMUS) — CU's official cut-off — is 200 for this cycle. Screening is called CUSAS (Covenant University Scholastic Aptitude Screening) and includes a CBT test, interview, and statement of purpose; candidates can book to sit it virtually or physically. Past questions are not sold or endorsed by the university — the screening is described as testing general reasoning rather than recalled content.

Final admission uses an aggregate of JAMB score (50%) and Post-UTME/CUSAS performance (50%). CU does not accept second-choice candidates and has no catchment-area policy — admission is purely merit-based. Candidates awaiting O-level results can submit with 'AR' (Awaiting Result).
