What to know this cycle
Post-UTME/DE screening 2026/2027: Registration ran 22 June – 5 July 2026 (one of the shortest windows among Nigerian federal universities — no extensions typically granted). Offer of admission is based on an aggregate of UTME/A'Level score (50%), Post-UTME screening score (30%), and five relevant O'Level grades (20%). General JAMB cutoff for 2026/2027 is 180; competitive courses (Medicine, Law, Pharmacy, Nursing, Engineering) require higher scores — see course-level cutoffs (sourced from the official 2025/2026 departmental list; 2026/2027 department-level figures not yet independently confirmed).
What to know: The official Post-UTME portal is https://portal.unilorin.edu.ng/ug/admissions (also reachable via www.unilorin.edu.ng). Candidates should use ONLY this link — the university has warned against unofficial third-party links. Registration steps: verify JAMB registration number → pay ₦2,000 screening fee via Remita → upload O'Level and JAMB result slip → print screening slip. Candidates awaiting O'Level results should select 'AR' (Awaiting Results). Course changes must be done on JAMB CAPS, not the UNILORIN portal. Candidates with disabilities (blind, deaf, mute, autistic, amputees, Down syndrome, Dyslexia, ADHD, albinism, cerebral palsy, etc.) are exempt from the screening test.
